I just wanted to say that I am really praying for everyone that is involved in this national crisis. Especially all of my distant relatives that I do not know. I pray that everyone is okay and made it out safely. I know that God is watching over you and even though things are bad he will always make a way. So please never lose sight of Jehovah Jireh our Provider. Please do not hesitate to contact me I would really like to speak to someone to find out if everyone is okay. I am praying for you and I Love you. Denetra Gary- Great, Great Grand daughter of Terrance Guillory II.

Insurance is great, but it doesn't cover immediate needs like clothes, shoes, school supplies, food, etc. So I would to extend a special thank all who have contributed to the fund so far to help with those immediate needs.

Thank you Stephanie, Maya, and Marsha.

Guillory Family Relief fund
Mood:  hug me
Topic: Katrina Fury
I was inspired by the Yahoo Group entry made by Andre below. I wanted to create a space for our family to post thoughts, prayers, and to donate relief funds for our family.

This is a picture of New Orleans almost completely submerged in toxic water.

"I am sure that this Storm has reeked havoc on many people of the Guillory lineage. As a Guillory and a citizen of this country my prayers go out to all who have been struck by this natural disaster. Especially those distant relatives, some of whom I may never know. God bless you all and, we should try as Guillory's to use this medium to coordinate some type of aide for those relatives in these extremely trying times." - Andre, Philadelphia Pennsylvania

To donate to the relief fund click the button below.

Those who are out of work and have questions about, among other things, collecting or filing for unemployment benefits can call a toll free number -- 1-866-4-USA-DOL -- to get help, said Pam Groover, a spokeswoman at the Labor Department.

If you have been affected by this or know of a Guillory (or Guillory family friend) that has been affected please post to this blog so that funds can go directly to their aid. I will keep a list here.

1. Margo & Brandon Johnson (kids, Jordan & Ondre)- relation sister to Maya,Marlene,Steph,Ricki and grandchild of the late Ellen Guillory.
2. Melva Guillory and Family
